It’s been a prize-winning year for Luna Park Venues (LPV)
Not only were the 2017 Savour Australia Restaurant & Catering Hostplus Awards for Excellence -Sydney Metropolitan held in the Big Top, but also Luna Park Venues was a finalist in both Function/ Convention Centre Caterer and Wedding Caterer categories. The dedicated and skilled team, comprising of catering, events and food and beverage staff, work cohesively to ensure that hosting an event at Luna Park Sydney is an enjoyable and stress free experience. Internationally trained Executive Chef, Mark Taylor, and his first class culinary team are renowned for preparing exceptional dishes created using high quality, local produce.
On top of that the Park received the Bronze Award in the 2017 NSW Tourism Awards for Business Events Venue. The Business Event Venues Category recognises venues that provide high quality facilities specifically designed for business events e.g. meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions. Judging criteria encompassed many facets including the catering experience, tourism excellence, business planning, marketing, customer service and sustainability.
Luna Park Venues has been a consistent high performer and is a key player in drawing international conferences and delegates to Sydney. Luna Park Venues showcases the best of Sydney and Australia in terms of service, world-class dining experiences and the iconic beauty of Sydney Harbour.
LPV also celebrated being National Finalist in the 2017 EEAA (Exhibition & Event Association Australasia) for Best Venue Team.
On the international front, just last week, the Park celebrated winning the IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions) Brass Ring Award for Best Games Operation 2017, passing such giants as DisneyWorld, Six Flags and Universal Studios. Founded in 1918, IAAPA is the largest international trade association for permanently situated amusement facilities worldwide. The organization represents more than 5,300 facility, supplier, and individual members from more than 100 countries.
